UNIQUE TRIGGER MECHANISM


The trigger mechanism on a crossbow is a highly complex piece of equipment in itself and in order for a crossbow to be safe, reliable and accurate. It should be designed with the utmost care and attention to the very finest detail.
Each and every component on a Talisman trigger mechanism is designed and hand crafted to exceptionally high levels of craftsmanship from only the very finest of materials available using our own patented trigger mechanism technology.
There is a range of different designs available and each design is selected for that particular draw weight with the sear and catch being course hardened for long life, high-powered use, all other parts are polished and finished to absolute perfection.
The Talisman range of fully customised triggers and mechanisms have taken over fifteen years to fully
develop, employing several different designs that have been thoroughly tested to breaking point, ensuring your confidence in use.

 

FEATURES INCLUDED ARE AS FOLLOWS

Brass and Aluminium alloy triggers that are fully adjustable for weight and pull.
Both manual and automatic safety catches.
Triggers made to fit your trigger finger in a range of different styles and finishes. Tested components on all working parts, ensuring absolute safety in use.


WINDING DEVICE


An optional winding device is available for all the crossbows. This technique consists of either one or two drive chains, depending on the design of the crossbow.
The winch can also act as a safety device when loading a bolt into a high-powered crossbow adding
confidence in use. As an integrated part of the crossbow, the winch can have a detachable winding handle.


BULLETS, BALL BEARINGS & RUNNERS


The crossbow is also very effective at propelling ball bearings and crossbow bullets. This can be achieved safely by fitting an over runner that fits onto the front sight and trigger mechanism or sight mount. Both ball bearings and bullets are loaded into the keyhole shaped slot in the over runner.
