BULLET RAIL IS COMPLETE and boy it's a bad ass bit of kit, after testing and adjusting for accuracy i have tried it out at 30 yrd's with huge success.Set on lower power the mantis shoot's a special 150 grn bullet at around 500 plus and it is also as accureate as a german air rifle at this range.I am now waiting on the endless rain to stop in this wonderful country before i can complete more longer range testing,it look's like our summer has abandonded us as well as all the other good stuff so far, maybe sometime this year we may have a nice day,who know's miracles have happened as of now it's all down to the good old british weather again, just like the good old everything else here .

So whats next? Im sure you got something else going on. You know we need to come up with a target that will stop bolts at the speed the Mantis can deliver and market that.

Very good idea Greg we sure need target's that can safely stop the bolt's without any damage to them on high power. And i have made target's that can do this and it will work with broadhead's as well,Well keep the plan for these very special target's our secret as it will be a very good accessory to the rapidly growing Talisman range, and it will not be expensive either.I for one would not want to shoot at a target that break's the bank. Also i have more test's to complete on special bolt's that will hold their downrange energy better than conventional bolt's.Now these are amazing stuff and i am nearly there with them ,not long now just a few more fine adjustment's for perfection. These new design long range hunting and target bolt's will spin in flight and will also be cheaper to produce and therefore cheaper for the shooter. It's getting very hot here now.I am alway's thinking of new way's to make the crossbow even more versatile and better soon well be beating gun's he he.Hey what am i on about i already have beat a 22 long rifle with ease here at 400 ft lbs and most hand guns as well. The velocitie's on high power with 200 grn bullet's is incredibly fast,at 200 yrd's it's there in a second just like a rifle.Crossbows rule, crossbows forever and ever, guess you could say i like crossbows just a tad,he he.

A target that will handle the Mantis will be no problem for me to design, once I actually have one in my hands to use for testing what I design. I am sort of an expert at targets and backstops. I design and build them to stop all types and speeds of missiles that are fired from weapons such as air rifles, firearms, and archery. Some of the Bartow, FL police officers have seen and been highly impressed with some of my ideas. One of the area captains even approved of one of my air rifle targets that I was using in my yard. However the home owner' association (Real Estate Gestapo) determined I am a nuisance. LOL.

We'll need something that can stop a bolt at 600fps and still be able to pull it out by hand. I'll put the thinking cap on. We work with all kinds of mat that may just be the trick.Wally, See what you can think of and I'll start checkimg things out at my end.Together we should be able to come up with a good one that is affordable.
