Hi there, the Mantis bow is shooting a 400 grn at 600 fps with a draw weight of 235lbs and powerstroke of 14 inches with a 600 grn solid alloy bolt it is doing over 500 fps and sends a bolt straight through 9 layers of thick carpet and hardwood of half inch with ease.I shot targets at 200 yrds with no problem with a 600 grn bolt and boy its there as soon as the trigger is squeezed. It will shoot accurately out to 250-300 yrds with a 400 grn bolt. All this power and its as quiet as a handbow. The other bows i make like the Demon and Dark angel shoot at speeds of 350 plus to a max of 385 fps with bolts of 350-400 grn.The very high speeds are achieved by using a one piece specially constructed unbreakable special high speed alloy prod.A one piece prod is much better than bolt on limbs for speed.Bolt on limbs waste a lot of space as the centre part is doing nothing also you can make a narrower bow with a higher speed than a wider bolt on limbs bow.I am developing a brand new ultra high speed flexing recurve bow that will exceed 400 fps.Its my next assignment after the bullet shooting attatchment,If you would like to know anything else at all just let me know,Thank's,Phil.

P.S the draw weight on the demon is 190 lbs at 10"powerstroke and the Dark angel is 220 lbs at 9" powerstroke. These two crossbows are very fast and very accurate. We shoot targets to 100 yrds with these no problem. With a Telesight on the Dark Angel bow i hit a meatfly at 30 yrd's with my own handmade carbon 2 fletch 350 grn bolts,Phil.

Greg i myself is still finding it hard to believe what this crossbow can do,i have to pinch myself after i shoot it as its like a crazy magical dream,The accessories that i have just completed working on will make it a dream to use.And although it is very very safe to load as i have loaded it with leather gloves on,on numerouse occasion's and i also ensure that i load the bolt without getting my finger's in the way of the string. I am not taking any chances with anyones fingers. So i have designed a special bolt loading tool for absolute safety and this work's excellent. As no one feels safe on railway lines even though a train might never be coming. With incredibly high speed's as these it would be absolutely crazy to get ones finger's in the way of the string and under no circumstances no one ever should, the string is hitting around 800 fps on dryfire with ease. And this bow copes with it with ease on a dryfire, the accessories will make this bow a real ultra safe pleasure for everyone to shoot it,just the way it should be,Phil.
